Gratitude and Validation

Who says we don’t need occasional validation? I don many hats, and have two jobs, although one is really just a “side gig” that I treat like a major thing. Today I realize that I’m so lucky to be doing all these work with me largely just doing “my own thing,” with my immediate supervisors just letting me be. To quote one boss, who told me this just now: “No one could do it better than you.” [Aww. Makahilak put ta ani uy.] I thrive, I think, with that level of trust, and with that level of creativity. I’m far from perfect, and I’m still a work in progress, but I really am good at what I do. This is a note of gratitude. And validation.
