entry arrow9:00 PM | Moon Gone in Malaysia

This book is apparently "hot stuff" in Malaysia.

According to filmmaker and writer Teng Mangansakan II, Malaysian customs officials seized all copies of his book, Children of the Ever-Changing Moon. The pathbreaking anthology of essays by young Filipino-Muslim writers, published by Anvil just last year, was supposed to take part in the ongoing Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair. No reason was offered to explain this action. Teng gives several theories for the embargo.
