entry arrow12:36 AM | What is Remembrance?

Every time I pass by Lo-oc, I always see a name Ive been constantly wondering about. Who is Amador Dagudag? There’s no information about him anywhere — except an online mention that he protected ballots during elections. And thats it.

I read somewhere once that the surest way of being forgotten is to have a monument, a building, a street named after you. An ironic truth, but there it is. Your name turns into some abstract thing that becomes fully connected to that monument, that building, that street, which has a way of erasing your own history. For example, there’s Amador Dagudag. Google him, and all you get are posts and pictures of school buildings — and just one little line about the man that says nothing about him.

But what is remembrance? Everything in life is temporary.
