My family has been grappling with a medical crisis over the holiday season, and it has been challenge over the past few weeks to deal with. It's our first of this kind of challenge since my father died 27 years ago. I've gone through the various stages of grief already, denial in particular, and then back again. I honestly don't know what to do, so I just try to remember to breathe.
